Keep this in mind before sending your armies through deserts or swamps—dissatisfied soldiers may desert, and disgruntled citizens can spark rebellions!

Worldwide Warfare
Prepare yourself for massive, tactical battles. When besieging a city, nearby armies will want in on the action—so expect large-scale conflicts. Once forces on adjacent hexes join the fray, there’s no stopping the chaos!

New Combat Mechanics
Your armies are assembled into squads rather than single units. Melee fighters can now react to any enemy who enters their sphere of influence, and enhanced tactics like flanking and rear attacks are possible—though dodging has been removed.
